Spring Photo Contest

With Spring right around the corner, I cant help but think about all the warm sunshine and fun bright colors. What better way to welcome Spring than by sporting fabulous hair accessories to match those already adorable little outfits?

How To Enter, Vote & Rules

Email a picture of your little one to dragonflybowtique@yahoo.com with "photo contest" as the subject. Your picture will then be added to an online photo album on our Facebook Fan Page within 24 hours after receiving the photo.
Ask your friends, family, co-workers, message board friends, neighbors, ect. to vote for your photo. To vote they must "like" Dragonfly Bowtique and then "like" the photo they are voting for. Totals will be calculated by the number of "likes" a photo receives.
Only one photo per child may be submitted.
You may vote for as many photos as you want to.

Contest starts today, Monday February 21st and will end on Monday, February 28th. Voting will start immediately and will end on Monday February 28th at 8am EST. A winner will be announced on the 28th. Photos may be submitted up until Friday at 8am EST.

Halloween Sale (and fall too!)

Halloween is fast approaching and for a few weeks now all of the Halloween and Fall items have been discounted on my website (minus the turkey ribbon sculpture). As Halloween draws nearer my cut off date for ordering Halloween items in time for Halloween ends Tuesday at 11:59pm. All orders received by then will ship and arrive prior to Halloween. After that date I cannot guarantee delivery by Halloween.

As of Wednesday morning the Halloween section will be removed from the website until next year. Now is the perfect time to stock up and save for next year.

My fall section of the website will remain up for a few more weeks and prices have already been lowered for an 'end of the season' sale. I'll post again when the last day to order fall items is.

Craft show season

My busiest time of year is upon us, craft show season. To help me better prepare for my shows I have a few questions.

Which clip do you prefer? The choices are limited as I will only be doing alligator clips at the actual show (besides infant snappies and some french barrette). However I cant make every item with every type of clip so a bulk of my items will be available in only those choices.

How do you like your clips lined? Fully or partially?

Over the next several weeks and months there will be a lot of new and exciting items. I am pretty excited about them and wanted to share with you guys and get your input on what you're excited to see or what you'd like to see in the future.

First and foremost I have a few new ribbon sculptures coming out, most likely during the up-coming week. I'll be completing my Disney Princess collection. I'll be working on some new items that I recently did for a custom order, fabric covered buttons. These looked adorable on pony-o's and will look fabulous on bobby pins, yes that's right bobby pins! I have a few older/more mature ideas for the bobby pins that will be fantastic for teenagers and adults.
